Jacqueline Collins

Jaqueline (Jackie) Collins, is a graduate from the University Of Manitoba Faculty Of Law. Her practise focuses on civil litigation, including insurance law, employment law, administrative law and estate law. She provides advice for regulatory bodies, including health care colleges and other types of associations. Jackie has also acted on behalf of a number of insurers who provide liability coverage to professionals such as insurance agents.

Professional Activities

Jackie is a Member of the Law Society of Manitoba. She is the Vice-Chairperson of the Insurance Agents’ and Adjusters’ Licensing Appeal Board. She has participated as a learning facilitator in the CPLED course through the Law Society of Manitoba in civil litigation and ethics. She has presented for the Continuing Legal Education division of the Law Society of Manitoba regarding cost awards in litigation. Jackie has
also presented to health care professionals regarding issues related to human rights and health care professionals.

Community Activities

Jackie has been involved in community organizations including L.E.A.F. (Legal Education Action Fund) and the Kidney Foundation. She has participated in the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law Advocacy program as a Moot Court Judge and as a presenter.
